The Season of Giving is upon us. It truly is the most wonderful time of the year – but not for everyone. Now, I think more than ever, we must be mindful to give – a smile, a compliment, a kindness, a dinner invitation, a phone call, whatever is necessary to fulfill a need. So many people are hurting right now and this time especially, we should find a need and fill it, find a hurt and heal it. That’s what God did for us…

So often we think we have to send or give gifts with a $$ value when it is the personal gifts like you mentioned that we remember the most!
Gorgeous! And I need this reminder so much!!!! Thank you, and Happy WFW!
NICE. Where do you find thse great pictures for your word fille wednesdays......they are great.
Our church did a "Simple Christmas" series last month, to prep us all for the holiday season.
On the last day of the series, the pastor talked about giving more. Everyone thought it was going to be about giving more to the church (cuz churchs always ask for money, right? LOL)
MUCH to our surprise, our pastor asked us to take off our shoes and walk them up front to the stage (we have a HUGE CHURCH...12,000 members.)
Yep, he said if we want to participate, walk our shoes up there and give them. After four services, they had almost 11,000 pairs of shoes for the needy. It was great watching people walk around in their socks or barefoot...
It truly is about giving .... That service really impacted me.
I love it! These are all things we can easily give and are commanded to give. Excellent reminder! Happy WFW!
I am loving this post.
Bessings to you on this WFW!
What a gorgeous illustration! May we always remember the truth that is found in this verse.
I love the picture! It is beautiful! And yes, you are so right. We need to remember who we are representing. People know when you are a Christian and they are watching.
Thanks for sharing!
Happy WFW!
What a great reminder, and I know it was meant for me to see because it ties in so beautifully with my memory scripture this week where I am guided to give and love sacrificially as Christ did for us (Ephesians 5:1-2.) God bless you!
