Fearfully and Wonderfully ~ Scrapblog

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,
Your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them!
Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand. When I awake, I am still with you.
Psalm139:13-14

I truly love this bit of Scripture because it is a reminder that God created me specifically the way He wants me to be. When I am feeling down or insecure about myself, this is what I think of and it brings me great comfort. I am a special and unique individual, created by the God of the universe, and He treasures me as His child. The same goes for you too! How wonderful is that?

You are the apple of His eye.

The same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you. You have been stamped with the likeness of the anointed one. So you got be special, loved, important. As you see yourself, so will others see you.

Be Blessed

Awesome! Too wonderful for words. That psalm means so much. God's words are so powerful, able to get you out of any funk you're in.

I, too, love this scripture. "...Fearfully and wonderfully made..." Wow! If I were to describe myself those are not the words I would choose. How blessed I am that God WOULD describe me with those words!

It is my prayer that as I grow older and discover more about what I have in me from our wise Creator, that I will appreciate Him more by making myself of better use for the Kingdom. Thank you for posting this verse. We are truly loved! Shalom!:$
